Speaking at Manhattan Beach Mayor’s "Keep It Green Town" Hall

On August 14, I was honored to be on the Expert Community Panel for Manhattan Beach Mayor’s Keep It Green Town Hall.  The Town Hall provided tangible solutions for Manhattan Beach residents to environmental problems.  I was asked about the most pressing environmental issue I am working on (climate change!); something I do in my daily life that Manhattan Beach residents could do as well (ride my bike); and what I am the most hopeful about (our youth! They intuitively get how to take care of the earth and why). I encouraged residents to take on just 1 little environmental action (which I have coined Eco-Habits), then layer on with another, and another, etc.  I am so proud to be part of such a progressive and thoughtful City trying to do its part to be protective of the environment.
